Children's Worship: |
|
Children in first through third grades are invited to leave the worship service with our Elements escort and come to the Lighthouse classroom for Elements of Worship. During this time, we explore the components of our worship services (such as Communion, the creed, use of the hymnal, and sending forth to serve) so that children may understand worship better when they are with your family. Elements does not meet on the first Sunday of the month, so that children may celebrate Communion with their families. |

VBS is our biggest event of the year! We invite our entire church family to volunteer in order to make Vacation Bible School an intergenerational experience. Our VBS is sure to provide children with a place to learn more about the Bible through singing, dancing, playing, science, art, and missions projects. We can’t wait to see your whole family there! VBS can only happen with the help of our 200+ volunteers. Will you be one?

Bundles of Joy is a program the Children’s Ministry and Care Team provide together for expecting families. These families may be expecting a child from birth or adoption, and we would like to celebrate with them, pray for them, and keep in contact with them. We hope that families stay connected and feel supported during these family transitions. Bundles of Joy is a ministry for which families will need to sign up in the nursery or on the 2nd floor, outside the Early Childhood Director’s office. We are specifically offering contact during pregnancy or the waiting period before adoption, contact after the arrival of the bundle of joy, and an offer of a meal from the Care Team . |
